Apple Search Ads

In the Apple Search Ads report, you can discover the data about your app on the App Store. This article describes what you can view in the Apple Search Ads report.

Filters

In the Apple Search Ads slice, you can filter data by the period (the default one is the last seven days), timezone, application, ad group, campaign, campaign status, and keyword. Also, you can group by data such as Campaign ID, Keyword ID, etc.

There's an option to use the Cohort mode:

  • The Cohort mode toggle is off: the report shows all the events that happened during the selected period from all the users.

  • The Cohort mode toggle is on: the report shows data attributed only to the new users who came during the selected period.

Table

The table may contain the following columns:

  • Campaign ID: the ID of the campaign.

  • Campaign Name: the name of the campaign.

  • Ad Group Name: the name of the ad group.

  • Ad Channel Type: the type of the ad channel.

  • Keywords: the keywords.

  • Campaign status: the status of the campaign.

  • Campaign created at: the date and time when the campaign was created.

  • Campaign updated at: the date and time when the campaign was updated.

  • Impressions: the number of impressions for the selected period.

  • Taps (Clicks): the number of taps (clicks).

  • Total Installs: the total number of installs.

  • Total new downloads: the total number of new downloads.

  • Total re-downloads: the total number of re-downloads.

  • View installs: the number of view installs.

  • Tap installs: the number of tap installs.

  • Tap new downloads: the number of tap new downloads.

  • Tap re-downloads: the number of tap re-downloads.

  • Cost: total cost.

  • CTR: Click-through Rate (clicks/impressions * 100%).

  • CR: Conversion Rate (installs/touch points (clicks and impressions) * 100%).

  • Avg CPI: average CPI.

  • Avg CPA: average CPA.

  • Avg CPM: average CPM.

  • Avg CPT: average CPT.​

You can manage your table with the following options:

  • The Export button to export the data.

  • The Update button to update the data in the slice.
