In Affise MMP, security setting adds an extra layer of protection against SDK breaches and fraudulent event floods aimed at triggering unjustified payouts. It also ensures that high-value events such as loans, purchases, and other critical actions can only be sent via API, safeguarding both revenue and trust.
Security
To find the setting, go to Applications > a certain application > Security.
Here, you can define which events are allowed to be sent:
Only from the SDK (Allowed SDK events)
Only via API (Allowed API events)
From both SDK and API
🔍 If the setting is not enabled, all events from both the SDK and API are received by default.
